What will my puppy look like?

All puppies pull back up to 8 generations genetically from mom and dad when they are born.

Imagine how many ways the puppies can look with so many ancestors.

So, if you see the mom and dad of a puppy, you are interested in and think it will look like something in between them or look like one of them, that is not always the case; in fact, hardly ever is the case.

Choose a puppy by its looks, head shape, snout, size,

and coloring.

Look at all the puppies in a litter; none look like each other and have different head shapes, colored hair, size, temperament, etc.

This is why looking at the parents will not translate into a puppy, especially for Yorkshire Terriers.
